Introduction
Welcome to the e-training platform of the Saudi Academy of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (Asr Academy). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the platform, services, and training content provided by the Academy, which is operated and managed by Asr Robotics Company. By accessing or registering on the platform, you acknowledge your full agreement to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:
- Academy: The Saudi Academy of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (Asr Academy).
- Asr Robotics Company: The entity operating and managing the platform (CR: 1012101781).
- Platform: The Academy's e-training website and services at asr.com.sa and related systems.
- User: Any person who accesses or registers on the platform, including trainees, trainers, and supervisors.
- Program/Course: Any training track, course, or program offered by the Academy through the platform.
- Certificate: A completion document issued according to the requirements of the approved program.
- License Number: 2000216521008562.
Acceptance and Scope
Your access to or registration on the platform constitutes explicit and binding acceptance of these Terms. These Terms apply to:
General Terms
- The platform, its content, and services are provided for training and educational purposes as made available by the Academy.
- The Academy reserves the right to amend or update these Terms when needed. Continued use of the platform after publication of amendments constitutes implicit acceptance.
- The platform may only be used for authorized purposes and in accordance with applicable laws in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Some detailed provisions may vary by program and are displayed on the relevant program page.
Registration and Account
When creating an account or registering for a program, the user agrees to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
- Maintain the confidentiality of login credentials and not share them with any third party.
- Notify the Academy immediately upon suspicion of unauthorized access to the account.
- Not impersonate another person or use an account that does not belong to them.
- The Academy may suspend or terminate an account upon violation of these Terms or submission of false information.
Program Enrollment and Payment
Program and course fees are subject to the prices displayed at the time of registration, and include — where applicable — VAT in accordance with the tax registration (VAT: 310768325800003).
- Registration is completed after payment through the payment methods available on the platform.
- Electronic invoices are issued in accordance with applicable regulations in the Kingdom.
- Registration is not effective until payment is confirmed and accepted by the Academy.
- The Academy reserves the right to reject any registration that does not meet program requirements.
Refund Policy
The Academy handles refund requests as follows:
- Trainees may request a refund if the request is submitted at least 48 hours before the course or program start date.
- The amount will be refunded — after deducting any bank or processing fees, if applicable — to the same payment method used.
- If the Academy cancels a program, the trainee is entitled to a full refund of the amount paid.
- No refund is due if the request is submitted after the 48-hour deadline or after the course has started, except by exceptional administrative decision of the Academy.
- Refund requests should be sent through the official contact channels listed at the end of these Terms.
Attendance and Completion
Attendance, completion, and certificate eligibility requirements vary from one program to another.
- Attendance and completion are subject to the requirements of each program or course as displayed on the program page.
- Trainees are responsible for reviewing program requirements before completing registration.
- Failure to meet program requirements may result in non-issuance of a certificate or exclusion from the program without entitlement to a refund.
- The Academy reserves the right to adjust program schedules or assessment mechanisms with notice to affected parties as permitted by the program.
Academic Integrity
The Academy adheres to the highest standards of academic integrity. Users are prohibited from:
- Cheating, plagiarism, or submitting work that is not their own.
- Using unauthorized tools or assistance in assessments.
- Impersonating another trainee or trainer.
- Tampering with exam results or attendance records.
- The Academy may cancel a certificate or suspend a trainee's account upon proven violation.
Code of Conduct
- Respecting the rights of trainees, trainers, and staff.
- Maintaining appropriate conduct and content in platform interactions.
- Not publishing offensive, unlawful, or inappropriate content.
- Maintaining confidentiality of training information accessed by the user.
- Not using the platform for commercial or promotional purposes without prior permission.
Intellectual Property Rights
All content available on the platform, including texts, training materials, images, logos, videos, software, and assessments, is owned by the Academy or its licensed partners and is subject to intellectual property laws in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Strictly prohibited:
- Copying, republishing, or distributing training content without permission.
- Using content outside the scope of the platform or enrolled program.
- Creating links or redirects to content without written consent from the Academy.
- Removing any copyright notices or trademarks.
Certificates
- Certificates — where applicable — are issued according to each program's requirements and approved assessment results.
- Certificates must not be forged, altered, or used in a misleading manner.
- The Academy may revoke any certificate issued based on violation or fraud.
- A certificate does not constitute an official document beyond what the Academy and relevant program specify.
Usage Restrictions and Security
The user agrees not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
- Attempt unauthorized access to platform systems or user data.
- Upload malicious software or attempt to disrupt or hack the platform.
- Collect data of other users without permission.
- Engage in any conduct that negatively affects the platform's security or stability.
The Academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate violating accounts without prior notice.
Limitation of Liability
- • The platform is provided "as is" without guarantee of being free from interruptions or technical errors.
- • The Academy and Asr Robotics Company bear no liability for any direct or indirect damages arising from use of or inability to use the platform.
- • The platform may contain links to external sites. The Academy is not responsible for the content or policies of those sites.
- • The user bears responsibility for their use of the platform in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws.
Termination or Suspension of Access
The Academy may, at its discretion, suspend or terminate any user's access in case of:
- Violation of these Terms or the Privacy Policy.
- Breach of program requirements or academic integrity.
- Misuse of the platform or its content.
- Submission of false information or impersonation.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Any dispute arising from use of the platform is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Kingdom.
